BELDEX is the operator of this website, together with beldex.io, wallet.beldex.io, walletv2.beldex.io, (each are their own "websites and applications" and together comprise the ecosystem of "websites and applications"). As a rights preserving project, we believe the protection of your personal data and confidentiality is serious. It is our policy to always respect your confidentiality and rights as it pertains to any information we may collect from you whilst you are on the "websites and applications". We will ever only ask for personal information when it is paramount to provide a service. If and when this occurs, our policy is to collect, process and use your personal data in accordance with this confidential policy and in compliance with the General European Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").

It is our policy to retain the above-mentioned information for as long as is necessary in order to provide you with the best browsing experience. Opening a BELDEX wallet account

To access our wallet at wallet.beldex.io, walletv2.beldex.io, and our wallets on Play Store, you must set up an account.

Information Collected by Beldex Wallet.

Log Information: We may log information about your use of the Services, including the type of browser you use, access times, pages viewed, your IP address and the page you visited before navigating to our websites.

Device Information: We may collect information about the mobile device you use to access our mobile application, including the hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers and mobile network information.

Information Collected by Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies: We use various technologies to collect information, and this may include sending cookies to your computer or mobile device. Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive or in device memory that help us to improve our Services and your experience, see which areas and features of our Services are popular and count visits. Please note that disabling cookies will break the session functionality that is required by the hosted Beldex Web Wallet account service.

Account Address Information: When you create an account through our Services, a view key is automatically generated and stored via our Services. We do not ever store or know your private spend key, which means that it is cryptographically impossible for us to spend funds on your behalf.

Camera Access:

The Beldex wallet requires access to your camera to scan QR codes for transaction purposes. You can revoke this access from your phone settings but may not be able to scan QR codes if you do so. Information We Collect From Other Sources: We may also obtain information from other sources and combine that with information we collect through our Services. For instance, as and when we implement a live chat support system we may collect information provided by you during the use of this system, such as your name and email address. We may also use third-party services branded as Beldex. Any third-party services may collect information as determined by their own confidentiality policies.

QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES PERMISSION:

The Beldex flutter mobile wallet uses the QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES permission to redirect users to the Beldex official social handles such as Twitter, Telegram, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc. Though we may attempt to regularly purge our logs of this information, the collection of this information is integral to the function of the service and thus you should treat it as if we possess it indefinitely.

You may contact us via our websites contact page or by e-mail at the following e-mail address: [email protected]. In order to process this query, you must (voluntarily) provide the following information: Name or Alias, Subject, E-Mail address, message. We use this data, which you may give voluntarily, only in order to answer your contact question or to reply to your e-mail in the best possible manner.

Registration for the BELDEX newsletter (if relevant)

In order to register for the BELDEX newsletter, you must voluntarily provide your e-mail address. By registering, you give consent to process the given data in order to periodically send the newsletter to the address you have given. All information gathered this way will never be passed on or sold to any third party. At the end of each newsletter and in your initial opt-in email a link is provided by means of which you can unsubscribe at any time.

Social Media Data

We include links to social networks such as GitHub, YouTube, Telegram, Twitter, Discord, Facebook, Instagram, Medium and others on our websites. By clicking these links, the operators of the respective social networks may record that you are on our websites and may use this information. BELDEX is not responsible for data collected by these individual social media platforms.

MN Monitor App:

Beldex provides the MN Monitor App for Masternode operators to check the status of their Beldex masternode in real time. The MN Monitor App does not collect or store your personal information. Nothing on the MN Monitor App requires user information. It also does not use third-party services.

Other parties who have access to the information we collect

With the exception of the provider of our website, we do not share any personally identifying information publicly or with third parties, except when required by law.

International transfer of personal data

We are entitled to transfer your personal data to third parties abroad for the purposes of the data processing described in this confidentiality Policy. These recipients are obliged to protect data confidentiality to the same extent as described above.
